Summary - Florence Nightingale

She was born in Florence, Italy on 12 may in 1820, she was the first greatest nurse in the world. She was a Victorian, and those people didn´t usually go to school, but Florence did, because she thought that everyone should get an education. When Florence was 12 years old she decided that she wanted to do something with her life, she wanted to be a nurse. Her parents didn´t like that she was going to be a nurse because they were usually working-class women. Florence went to Germany to learn about nursing and she was very happy working as a nurse.

When the Britain entered the Crimean war Florence was one of the nurses that were there and helped the people that had been sick or wounded. She made the hospitales cleaner and safer and the death number at the hospitales went down from 40% to 2%. After the war she wrote a book how to make better hospitales. Florence died August 13, in 1910 in London.

Good Will Hunting

Good Will Hunting is about a boy called Will, he is a very smart boy but he doesn´t care too much about it to go to school. Instead he works as a cleaner on a school.

The school got a blackboard in the hallway, and on the blackboard there is a math exercise that nobody has solved. One day when Will is cleaning the hallway he sees the blackborad and deside that he´s going to solve the problem. But the professor sees Will when he is solveing it and he tells Will to run away before the professor realize that Will has solved the problem. And the professor starts to locking after Will.

Will is going in to prison because he punched a guy at the street. The professor at the school comes and takes Will out from the prison, but the professor has two conditions. The first one is that Will has to go to a math class, and the otherone is that he has to go in therapy. Will refuses to go in therapy, but he want out of prison so he goes anyway. They are trying with many different therapists, but nobody gets how Will feels. The professor knows a person that he think can help Will, because they have the same background. But Will still don´t take it seriously and just think it´s a waste of time.

Will spends a lot of time with his friend, and there is only one of four of them who has a driver licens, so he is the one that is driving them around. They like to mess around and just take everyday as it comes, unless they are working.

On a bar Will meet a girl and she gives him her number, and the next day Will calls her and they deside to have a date. They have a good time and she falled in love with Will. And one day when Will is on a date with Skyler she says that she is going to school in Kalefornia, and she want Will to go with her. But Will think it´s wrong because she don´t know him, and don´t know Wills background. So she says that if he loves her he goes with her and say it, but if he don´t he should say it and she will never call him again and just let him go. Will just said that he didn´t love her and walked away.

In the end Will is writing a letter to the therapist about that he was going to a school, but he can´t because he is going after the girl he likes.

Mexico

Mexico is a land i the south of north america, they talk spanish. Mexicos capital is Mexico city, it´s one of the biggest citys in the world. Mexicos flag has three colours, green, white and red. Mexico got many tourist attractions, and many beautiful places at the sea. Mexico has many coultures, like mayans, aztecs and other idndian coultures. Their food is very spicy, Mexico has pyramids too. Mexico is a very poor land, but everybody is not poor. They are either rich or they are poor.

My summer holiday

A lazy summer

When I got home from school and realized that I had nothing planned for almost the whole summer was the best feeling ever. I didn´t need to go up early for a job or anything else like that. I could do whatever I wanted and whenever I wanted to do things, and sleep as long as I wanted meanwhile almost everybody else was working.

Even though it was a really lazy summer at first, we went to Smögen and Strömstad for almost a week with my dad. About 20 minutes away from Strömstad there was a huge shopping center called Nordby, it was almost in Norway, so when we turned off the freeway we could see the toll between Sweden and Norway.

The following week we went to Borås with my mum and cousins, of course we went to the zoo. And I took over 600 pictures on the animals with my camera, but that is nothing compared to my cousin. She took over 1000 pictures. In Borås there is also a big bathhouse, and in one pool they can make waves, that was the funniest part of that. But the slide is also very funny, you can compete with somebody else with time how fast you can go down.

One and ½ week before we started school we decided to go to Liseberg, Göteborg. That was one of my favorite things during the summer holiday, I like Liseberg because you can never get bored there. Besides maybe if there are many poeple, you might have to wait half an hour or maybe even longer, that could be a bit boring. But I had fun, I was very lucky too, I won a 2 kg M&M´s there and I really love that! And later that day I won 2 small “chocolate plopps”, really lucky day.

The last week of the summer holiday I had a terrible cold, so I couldn´t do so much then, but that didn’t do anything because I just wanted to relax and prepare for school. It was probably one of my last lazy summer holiday before I´m going to work during the summers. My summer this year was all about taking each day as it come, and I think that is what the summer is about.

Will

Will is a 36 year old man, he lives in a big flat in London. He don´t like children or responsibility. Once he joined a single parentclub and pretended that he had a son, so he could meet single mother. His father wrote a famous christmas song that many famous artist are recirdning, and each time Will owns money because of the song. He doesn´t work, he had tried to get a job but it never worked, so he lives on the royalty from the song his father wrote.

Will has a favorite tv program that is countdown, it´s a TV show quiz on the afternoon, he always watch that. Will has alot of girlfriends, but every time it gets to serius about a girl he ends the relationship, because he don´t want to get to involved with them. Every time he get bored he goes abroad to Rome or something like that for a few days.

The Royal Wedding

I learned that tomorrow (Friday) prince William and Kate Midelton re going to get married in London. Viktoria and Daniel will come to the wedding, there are 5000 people invited to the wedding but just the closest friends and family are invited to Backingham palace. The wedding going to be live/broadcast and very many people are going to watch them get married. They have Dianas ring.
